kṛpā kari’ kṛṣṇa more diyāchilā saṅga
svatantra kṛṣṇera icchā,——kailā saṅga-bhaṅga
“Being merciful upon Me, Kṛṣṇa gave Me the association of Haridāsa Ṭhākura. Being independent in His desires, He has now broken that association.” (Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Antya 11.94)
My dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,
Please accept my prostrated obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace!
You said the duty of the disciple is to inquire of the spiritual master. You have called your beloved servant to your lotus feet. By your divine grace, he was also our dearest friend and brother. How shall we live without him?
Now, having asked the question, I feel you have given the answer: by the same divine grace.
