During the morning class at ISKCON Los Angeles, Bhrgupati dasa spoke from Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.3.27 and Giriraj Swami contributed some comments.
“My service is book distribution, so I am out there all day long meeting people who are not devotees. I have to admit that a lot of the time after meeting them and talking with them for some time, I think, ‘You know, these people are not that bad.’ Most of them are friendly and respectful and even take books. Some even show an interest in the philosophy. It is not that at the end of the day I drive away thinking that they are a bunch of demons. And sometimes I wonder, ‘Is it really true that these people I’m meeting who seem like ordinary, nice people are going to get such heavy punishment if they don’t take to Krishna consciousness?’ Of course, according to sastra, the answer is, ‘Yes.’ ” — Bhrgupati dasa
