Giriraj Swami read and spoke from Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.9.44:
“Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura addressed the thousands of devotees attending the Navadvipa-dhama Parikrama in 1935. As usual, all the sannyasis and brahmacharis were sitting in the front. Facing them, he explained his earnest desire that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s teachings be spread in the Western countries, saying that he was so anxious for this to happen that he had been prepared to spend the lifeblood of the Gaudiya Matha — all its financial resources — to send devotees there, but that somehow their attempts had been largely unsuccessful. Then he turned his head to his left, away from the main audience, and for some time remained silent, looking intently at our Srila Prabhupada. Again he turned and addressed the audience before him, and said, ‘But I have a prediction. However long in the future it may be, one of my disciples will cross the ocean and bring back the entire world.’ So, without Srila Prabhupada’s having picked up this mood from his Guru Maharaja, where would we be?”
