Giriraj Swami spoke on Radhastami evening in Berkeley, California.
“Krishna Himself says in the Brahmanda Purana, vina radha-prasadena mat prasado na vidyate: ‘Without Radharani’s mercy, no one can get My mercy.’ Therefore devotees approach Radharani. In the temples established by Srila Prabhupada and his predecessors, we don’t worship Krishna alone. We worship Him with Radharani, and that is the perfection of divinity — Radha and Krishna together. But what is our capacity to approach Radharani? Yes, She represents the compassionate side of Krishna, but what is our capacity to approach Her? What is our connection, or relationship, with Her? Therefore Krishna, or Radharani, sends Her representatives, through disciplic succession, before us, so that we can establish an actual relationship with someone who has a connection with Radharani.”
